History, culture, and relaxation on Mediterranean coasts

About

Discover Tunisia

Tunisia is a country that hasn't finished revealing itself. The Tunis medina, UNESCO-listed, is a labyrinth of souks, mosques, and palaces that opens onto the modernity of a Mediterranean capital.

Sidi Bou Said is one of the world's most photogenic villages, with its blue and white houses above the Bay of Carthage. Carthage itself, ancient capital of empire, still has its visible baths and ruins.

In the south, the desert takes over. Douz is the Sahara gateway, Matmata has its troglodyte houses, and Tataouine its Berber ksour — Star Wars didn't film here by accident.
